Inspired by David’s collection of tikis. From left to right, Maui, Philippines, Maori, America (Mickey), Hawaii, Marquesas, Easter Island.
The lines were laid in as soft ground lines, followed by a number of aquatint values. Color is introduced in variations of color ink and watercolor applied after printing.
Edition of 25 color variations with no Artist Proofs.
