    About the Print

Quasquicentennial Oak, Morning is a limited edition fine art etching with aquatint. David “pulls” each print from the plate which he created; each print made in this method is an original. As respected printmaker Rosey Rosenthal states, “Original prints are an intimate conversation between the artist and the collector. These prints clearly reveal the artist’s true feelings, skills and energy.” David etched the zinc plate with three different line thicknesses, then added two aquatint tones to achieve the final effect. Please see detail below.

    Caring for your Print

Quasquicentennial Oak, Morning is packaged in an archival polypropylene envelope with acid-free archival black foamcore for support. This will protect your print during transport and storage until framing. When framing, use only acid-free mats and materials, and preferably UV-resistant clear glass. As with all original art, hang your framed print out of direct sunlight.

    Framing

If you buy an unframed print and have it framed at Eighteen-Ninety House, Dot will donate 10% of the framing price to the Friends of the Paso Robles Library!
